Group Consultancy Services

Support Groups for Workers

Groups consist of no less than 3 and a maximum of 8 participants meeting weekly for 1½ hours for a minimum of 6 to 12 sessions. An assessment session would be necessary to establish organisation of the group membership. The aim of this group service is to foster peer support and equip each individual member with tools to better understand and cope with difficult aspects of organisational life and change. The philosophy informing such groups is based on values of self-reflection, self-awareness and the realisation of the individual's fullest potential. Groups can be taken in-house or off-site.

Support Groups for Managers

Groups are for 3 or more people and are run on a 6 weekly basis. They meet for 1½ hours, either in-house or off-site. They aim to build emotional and peer support, as well as equip individual managers with the means for meeting challenges relating to problems of working with cultural differences in the workplace. Managers can expect to gain further insight, knowledge and expertise into managing difficult cross-cultural encounters which are made more complex by personality differences influenced by e.g., race, gender, sexuality, disability, age and religion. They are also helped to manage complaints of harassment of all kinds and other challenging situations requiring specific cross-cultural knowledge and know-how.

Conflict Resolution for Managers and Workers

Consultancy offers various formats for the work with teams. It can be done in one-off sessions or via a rolling programme of meetings spread over a shorter or longer period. Conflict resolution helps teams with tensions and crises in the workplace. It enables staff to find appropriate ways of resolving problems through an understanding of how systems work and how personal and group culture can influence work dynamics for better or worse.
